Import from CSV

To bring many subscribers at once — from a billing, a spreadsheet, or the router you are replacing — fill CSV files in the Super Router’s own format and import them. The router reads only this format: you export your data as these columns, it checks every line, and nothing changes until you say so.

The files

One file per kind, UTF-8, a header line with the column names, then one line per item. Commas separate the columns (a spreadsheet’s semicolons are accepted too); a value with a comma is put in quotes. Only the columns marked required must be there; the others may be left out or empty.

Import in this order: plans, networks, clients, services.

plans.csv

networks.csv

The subscriber networks: a VLAN, the router’s address on it (the subscribers’ gateway), served by DHCP.

Column	Required	Meaning
vlan	yes	1–4094.
parent	yes	The router’s port or bond it is on (bond0).
gateway	yes	The router’s address with the prefix: 10.21.0.1/22.
name		A label.
protocol		802.1q (default) or 802.1ad (an S-VLAN).
enabled		yes (default) or no: made switched off and not served — for taking over from another router, switched on when that one lets go of the network.

clients.csv

Subscribers by MAC address, each with its fixed IPv4 address.

Column	Required	Meaning
mac	yes	AA:BB:CC:00:00:05.
ip	yes	On one of the router’s networks (not its network, gateway or broadcast address).
name		The subscriber’s name (kept as the comment).
plan		A plan that exists (import plans.csv first).
shaper		Where the plan’s speed is limited: olt (default) or router. See Plans and shaping.
ipv6		A fixed IPv6 address, on the same interface.
expires		The end date (YYYY-MM-DD): suspended on that day.
suspended		yes or no (default).
comment		Free text.

A whole file is imported with one DHCP reload; if DHCP refuses it, nothing is kept.

services.csv

Subscribers with their ONT: each line registers the ONT on the OLT, makes its service-port and gives it its address, as dtvsol service add does. The ONUs must be connected and not registered yet.

pon	yes	The PON port, frame/slot/port (0/1/3).

ref		Your billing’s reference (unique).
contract		The contract number.
user_vlan		The VLAN the ONU sends its traffic in, when not the default.
ipv6, iptv		yes or no.
expires		The end date.
comment		Free text.

Check, then import

The check lists every line with a problem and why: a MAC or address that is not valid, an address on none of the router’s networks, a MAC or address already used — on the router or earlier in the file — a plan that does not exist, an OLT that is not registered, a serial that is already a service.

The monitor’s Settings → Import page does the same: choose the kind, download its template, pick your file, Check, then Import.
